Mark Trigg Joins Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Litigation Department in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA -- May 14, 2002 -- Greenberg Traurig LLP announced today
that Mark G. Trigg joined
the firm’s Atlanta office as a shareholder in the litigation practice. Most
recently, he practiced with Meadows, Ichter & Trigg, P.C., the firm he co-founded
in 1992.
Trigg has represented clients in a broad range of matters, including
corporate and partnership disputes, class action litigation, defamation
and media claims, and the defense of catastrophic personal injury claims.
He has obtained substantial verdicts or settlements in lawsuits involving
breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and copyright infringement.

Trigg has also served as Special Counsel to the City of Atlanta Ethics
Board and has advised and participated in the drafting of proposed amendments
to the Georgia Ethics in Government Act. He is a member of the State Bar
of Georgia, and was appointed by the Bar to serve on the Children and the
Courts Committee for 2002.
Trigg earned a juris doctorate degree from Emory University School of
Law, where he was enrolled in the joint law and divinity graduate program.
He is a Millsaps College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy.
Trigg was the 2001 recipient of the Fulton County Juvenile Court’s “Outstanding
Volunteer” award and was recognized by Georgia Trend magazine as a “Rising
Star in Georgia Business” in 1999. Trigg was recently named a member of
Leadership Atlanta’s Class of 2003, and he serves as secretary of the Federal
Defender Program’s board of directors, a position appointed by the judges
of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
