Lawyer Gérard Moussault moves to Greenberg Traurig
AMSTERDAM -- June 2, 2004 --
Gérard Moussault (48) has
joined Greenberg Traurig LLP, as a shareholder as of June 1. He is moving
from Van Doorne where he was also a shareholder. Previously he was a partner
with legal predecessor Trenité Van Doorne. Gérard Moussault specializes
in his day-to-day consultancy practice mainly in project financing, structured
finance and corporate (re)structuring. He works for a large number of companies
in the transport sector.
Moussault will with his arrival reinforce the Banking and Securities
practice of Greenberg Traurig. Together with partner
Wietse de Jong who joined
earlier this year, he is responsible for developing the group at European
level. For Gérard Moussault his move was largely driven by the enterprising
climate and the culture in the office of American origin and the clear common
mission, namely to put this office (45 fee earners in Amsterdam) on the
map in the Netherlands and beyond. "A good personal move after having worked
for many happy years with Van Doorne.”
Gérard Moussault (1955) is married and has three children. In addition
to his daily work he holds a number of directorships, for example on the
Liberal Professions Council (Raad voor het Vrije Beroep).
