Anti-Defamation League to Honor Greenberg Traurig Shareholder and Aventura
Mayor at Torch of Liberty Awards Dinner
MIAMI, FL -- February 9, 2004 -- Attorney
Clifford A. Schulman, shareholder
of the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig LLP, and City of Aventura
Mayor Jeffrey Perlow, will be honored by the Anti-Defamation League during
the 2004 Torch of Liberty Awards Dinner March 30 at the Westin Diplomat
Resort & Spa. The Torch of Liberty Award is given by the ADL to business
leaders who demonstrate a commitment to end bigotry and racism. The ADL
is a national organization dedicated to countering anti-Semitism and other
forms of bigotry.

“I am very honored at the recognition and at being able to share this
with Mayor Perlow,” said Schulman.
"In both my professional and personal life, I continuously work towards
fulfilling the ADL’s vision of equal treatment for everybody, countering
hatred wherever it appears,” Mayor Perlow noted.
Schulman, a member of the firm for 24 years, is the co-chair of the Environmental
and Land Use practice for the firm and was a former Assistant County Attorney
for Miami-Dade County, prior to joining the firm. He is also currently an
Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Miami Law School in its Masters
of Law Program.
Schulman is an Emeritus member of the Board of Trustees for the University
of Florida Law Center Association; Chairman of the Board of the Aventura
Marketing Council; a member of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the
United Way of Miami-Dade; a Founder of Mount Sinai Hospital; and a Pacesetter
for the Jewish Federation of Greater Miami. He is a member of Temple Sinai
of North Dade, where he was Vice President and member of the Executive Committee.
