Brian Cohen to Receive Award for Commitment to the Jewish Community
NEW YORK, NY -- December 6, 2005 --
Brian M. Cohen, of counsel
in the New York office of Greenberg Traurig LLP, will receive the James
H. Fogelson Young Leadership Award today from the UJA-Federation of New
York for his deep commitment to the Jewish community and service to the
UJA Federation.

The Fogelson award was established in memory of James Fogelson by his
family. Mr. Fogelson was a lawyer who exemplified commitment to the practice
of law and philanthropy.
Mr. Cohen is of counsel in Greenberg Traurig’s real estate group. He
has broad experience in the representation of REITs, developers, joint ventures,
and institutional lenders and investors on transactions involving office
buildings, hotels, retail, multi-family apartment complexes, cooperatives,
condominiums, shopping centers, and land development. His community work
includes serving on the Young Leadership Cabinet for United Jewish Communities
and the Board of Directors for the Jewish Community Relations Council of
New York.
Mr. Cohen will receive the award Tuesday at The Judge Joseph M.
Proskauer
Event for the UJA-Federation of New York’s 2006 annual campaign, which starts
at 6pm at the Grand Hyatt New York on Park Avenue.
