Prominent Trust & Estate Attorney Brings Expertise to Phoenix GT Office
PHOENIX, AZ -- April 14, 2005 --
Jeffrey H. Verbin, managing shareholder
of Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Phoenix office, is pleased to announce that
Donald E. Fergus Jr. has
joined the firm in the Trust and Estates Department.

Fergus has practiced for more than twenty five years in the areas of
estate planning, wealth transfer and probate and trust law in California
and Arizona. His experience includes administration of trusts, fiduciary
accountings as well as extensive experience in the handling of litigation
involving trusts and estates.
In addition he has worked with many business owners in planning involving
transfer of assets, including succession of ownership in their businesses
through the use of family limited partnerships, limited liability companies,
irrevocable life insurance trusts and other gifting plans. In addition,
he has represented numerous clients in the formation of charitable trusts
and family foundations.
Fergus received his J.D. from the California Western School of Law and
a B.A. from the University of California at Irvine. In addition he holds
certification in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar
of California Board of Legal Specialization.
