As an associate in the corporate and securities department, Lindsey will focus his practice on domestic and international business transactions including partnership law, merger and acquisitions, joint ventures, project development, and other strategic business arrangements.

Jeffrey H. Verbin, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Phoenix office, stated “We are happy to have Randall join Greenberg Traurig’s industry-leading international practice. His background and experience in global markets will be an excellent addition to our office, where we already have a thriving practice dealing with clients doing business in Mexico and throughout Latin America.”

Having received his J.D. from Arizona State University in 1994 and his B.A. from Yale University, Lindsey also holds Licenciatura en Derecho, from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. Lindsey is fluent in Spanish and admitted to practice in Arizona, Texas and the Republic of Mexico.

Lindsey arrives in Phoenix as Governor Napolitano and other business leaders marshal forces to stretch Arizona’s Latin American trade ties beyond Sonora, its Mexican neighbor to the South. While Lindsey’s Latin American legal experience is centered on Monterrey and Mexico City, Mexico, he has worked on transactions in over 20 countries, including the Caribbean, China, and Central and South America.

According to Ben Aguilera, the Greenberg Traurig shareholder in charge of the firm’s International Practice in Phoenix, “Randall’s experience and expertise will be beneficial to local businesses as Arizona becomes more closely linked to the global economy.” Aguilera and Lindsey are part of Greenberg Traurig’s national and international team of attorneys equipped to deal with global business issues.
