Anthony L. Abboud Joins Greenberg Traurig
CHICAGO, IL-- May 25, 2006 -- The international law firm Greenberg

Anthony L. Abboud has joined its Chicago
office as of counsel. Abboud, a litigation attorney, joins the firm
from Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon LLP where he was a partner.
Abboud focuses his practice on commercial litigation and business
counseling for emerging and mature companies. He has substantial
experience litigating business contract, business tort, and products
liability actions in federal and state courts. His cases have included
commercial contract, consumer fraud, deceptive trade practices,
restrictive covenant, product defect, toxic tort, and insurance
disputes. He has also defended large companies in complex class
actions and high-profile cases.
When not in court, Abboud focuses on his clients’ strategic business
objectives. Specifically, he helps clients grow and relocate significant
parts of their businesses throughout the U.S. by leveraging tax
credit and other governmental incentives that relate to real estate
development. He also advises clients on litigation avoidance strategies.
Abboud earned his juris doctorate from the University of Iowa
College of Law in 1994, and his B.A. from Carleton College in 1988.
