Greenberg Traurig Expands its Albany office and Environmental
practice with the Addition of Heather P. Behnke
NEW YORK, NY-- June 1, 2006 -- The international law firm Greenberg

Heather P. Behnke has joined the
Environmental and Energy and Natural Resources departments in the
firm’s Albany office. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Ms. Behnke
was an attorney at Nixon Peabody LLP. Ms. Behnke concentrates her
practice in environmental, energy and litigation matters in New
York State and Federal Courts. Her practice areas include administrative
enforcement, compliance with all federal and New York environmental
statutes and regulatory programs, due diligence, Brownfields redevelopment,
siting and permitting of solid waste management facilities, and
complex litigation involving state and federal environmental laws,
contractual disputes, and employment law.
