Greenberg Traurig Attorney Elected to Board of South Florida

MIAMI, FL -- June 23, 2006 --
Carl A. Fornaris,
a shareholder with the international law firm Greenberg Traurig
LLP, was recently elected to serve a one-year term on the Board
of Directors of the South Florida Banking Institute. Fornaris is
a co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s National Financial Institutions
Practice and is ranked in the area of Banking & Finance in Florida
in the 2006-2007 edition of Chambers & Partners USA Guide,
an annual listing of the leading business lawyers and law firms
in the world.

related to Barclay’s Latin America business generally and its Miami,
Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Mexico and Venezuela offices.
