Greenberg Traurig Further Expands its Boston Office With the Addition
of H. Hamilton Hackney, III
BOSTON, MA -- January 23, 2006 -- The international firm of Greenberg
Traurig LLP announced today that
H. Hamilton Hackney, III
has recently joined the firm as a Shareholder in its Real Estate and Environmental
Departments in the Boston office. Mr. Hackney concentrates his practice
in environmental law, with a particular focus on real estate-related issues
such as permitting and brownfields redevelopment.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Hackney was a partner in Choate,
Hall & Stewart’s Real Estate Department, where he co-chaired the Land Use
& Environmental Practice. He is a founding member and Secretary of the National
Brownfield Association, Massachusetts Chapter.
Mr. Hackney has fifteen years experience representing clients in a wide
range of environmental matters, including permitting, brownfields redevelopment,
cost-recovery and property damage litigation, corporate and real estate
transaction due diligence, and compliance and enforcement matters.
