Greenberg Traurig Expands its Philadelphia office and Real Estate
practice with the Addition of Stuart D. Poppel
PHILADELPHIA, PA-- May 15, 2006 -- The international law firm

Stuart D. Poppel has
joined its Philadelphia office as a Shareholder in the Real Estate
department. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Poppel was a
partner at Blank Rome LLP. Mr. Poppel concentrates his practice
on all aspects of real estate development, with an emphasis in the
development of affordable rental and for-sale housing. He has represented
for-profit and non-profit developers, investors and housing authorities
in the creation of affordable and senior housing projects involving
federal low income housing tax credits and historic rehabilitation
tax credits, as well as developments financed with HOPE VI and other
HUD funds in mixed-finance developments.
