President Bush Releases FY 2004 Budget Request

On February 3, 2003, President Bush released his FY 2004 budget request, including $18.1 billion for the new Department of Homeland Security’s Border and Transportation Security Directorate, with additional resources to backlog reduction and for the entry/exit system technology.
