Tel Aviv Rescinds Certain Immigrant Visa Appointments and Warns of a Slow Down in Nonimmigrant Visa Processing

The United States Embassy in Te-Aviv has rescinded all appointments for immigrant visa interviews scheduled for applicants currently residing in the United States. Applicants are being advised to contact the Embassy to schedule a new appointment once normal operations are resumed. This rescission of appointments resulted from recent State Department travel warnings and the reduction of visa services at post due to its Authorized Departure status.

The Tel Aviv Embassy also advises all non-immigrant visa applicants to expect significant delays in obtaining visas.
