BCIS Begins Development of Improved Citizenship Test

The BCIS recently announced that it has begun developing a new citizenship test that will result in a uniform standard of testing proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for applicants across the nation. Currently the test given to naturalization applicants is administered in an inconsistent manner. The following five cities will participate in the development phase of the new test: Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Antonio, Atlanta, and Newark.

Full details may be viewed in the attached press release by the BCIS.
