List of U.S. Embassies and Consulates Closed to the Public

The Department of State has announced a list of U.S. Embassies and Consulates that have been closed to the public due to security concerns related to the U.S. military action in Iraq. The closing of the embassies and consulate were decided independently by each ambassador at each post and was not ordered by the Department of State. Below please find the list of the cities where embassies and consulates are closed at this time. Please note that it is unclear how long these posts will remain closed to the public and there is a possibility more U.S. embassies and consulates will be added to the list.
