More on PERM

The Department of Labor has indicated to AILA's DOL Liaison Committee that it now believes that the PERM regulation will not be published until early 2004. DOL expects that the regulation will take effect 120 days after its publication. This comes as a disappointment to all of us, but not a surprise. The DOL had indicated as late as early November they was still shooting for this year.
