New Medical Form Required for Adjustment Applicants

A new version of the Form I-693 Medical Examination is now in effect. This form is submitted with I-485 adjustment of Status applications (“green card”). The Vermont Service Center has indicated that it will accept the "older version" of Form I-693, for an additional 60 days, until November 30, 2005. If you will be filing an I-485 application after this date make sure to utilize the new Form I-693, while the I-485 application may not be automatically rejected, it could delay the processing of the I-485.
