ETA to Centralize Processing with Closing of Four Regional Offices
The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration
(ETA) has announced that it is closing several regional offices in order
to provide a more unified system for filing and processing. Filing and processing
activities will now be handled by two National Processing Centers in Atlanta
and Chicago, and two Backlog Elimination Centers in Philadelphia and Dallas.
Regional offices in Boston and Seattle have been closed, while New York
and San Francisco are presently winding down their operations.
