ICE Sweeps Continue

Last week, as reported in our GT Alert, ICE arrested over 1,000 alleged illegal workers as well as a number of managers. These arrests are part of the Department of Homeland Security’s Border Initiative which includes identifying U.S. employers who knowingly hire undocumented workers. Additional ICE sweeps have already been reported and ICE acknowledges its heightened level of activity and involvement will continue. GT will continue to provide updates and information as they become available.
