It's Over... The H1B U.S. Graduate Cap Is Reached

USCIS has released a Press Release confirming that July 26, 2006 was the final receipt date for Fiscal Year 2007 (October 1, 2006 to September 30, 2007) U.S. Graduate H1B visa petitions. At this time, the earliest date a petitioner may request for an H1B is October 1, 2007 and the earliest date an H1B may be filed is April 1, 2007.
