H-1B CAP MET ON FIRST DAY - WE GO TO A LOTTERY.

Insider sources confirm that as of the afternoon of April 2nd over 150,000 H-1 B cap cases were received at the Service Centers. The USCIS will continue to accept petitions through the close of business tomorrow and then, pursuant to the regulations, will apply a “random selection” lottery to the petitions received on April 2nd and 3rd.
