Fee Increase for Immigration Benefits Applications and Petitions

Effective July 30, 2007, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) increased the filing fees for immigrant benefits applications and petitions. Applications or petitions postmarked or other filed on or after July 30, 2007 must include the new fee and USCIS will reject applications or petitions containing an incorrect fee.

Please refer to the new fee schedule at USCIS’ web site at http://www.usics.gov/fees.

USCIS reminds the public that the adjustment of status applicants eligible under July Visa Bulletin are exempt from the new fees.
