FBI Security Checks Taking Too Long?
Many individuals have waited more than two, and in some cases, as
much as five plus years for the requisite FBI security checks to
be completed for them to be granted an immigration benefit, such
as U.S. legal permanent residency or U.S. citizenship. In many cases,
GT has partnered with the immigration agencies -- USCIS and
legacy INS to resolve these matters; in others, GT has assisted
its clients in filing federal writs of Mandamus, compelling the
government to act on these severely delayed security checks and
adjudicate the underlying applications. To learn more about some
recent success stories and the partnership between GT's immigration
attorney and litigators, John Scalia and Mathew Sorenson, read the
full story in our upcoming newsletter.
