U.S. Embassy in Sanaa, Yemen has Cancelled all Immigrant Visa Appointments for October 2008

In response to the terrorist attack on the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa, Yemen on September 17, 2008, the Consular section of the Embassy has temporarily reduced visa processing, including the cancellation of all immigrant visa appointments scheduled for October 2008. All immigrant visa appointments will be rescheduled and applicants will be contacted by the National Visa Center or Consular section when the immigrant visa appointment has been rescheduled. The U.S. Embassy in Sanaa, Yemen has not published a timeframe for the rescheduling of immigrant visa appointments and directs applicants who require further information to contact the Consular Section within the country at 755-2000.
