DOL Provides Current PERM Processing Dates
On March 20, 2009, the Department of Labor (DOL) announced its current
processing dates for labor certification applications, which are also
called PERM applications. DOL is currently adjudicating cases filed in
July 2008 that have not been selected for audit. For those PERM cases
that have been selected for audit, DOL is currently adjudicating cases
that were filed in September 2007. DOL also said that it was currently
working on appealed PERM denials that were filed in June 2007.
