H-1B Cap Count as of May 6th

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has reported that as of May 6, 2011, 10,200 H-1B cap-subject petitions counting against the 65,000 quota and 7,300 counting against the 20,000 advanced degree exemption have been receipted. While the H-1B cap continues to appear to be proceeding slowly, it is impossible to predict when the cap will be reached. Accordingly, GT continues to recommend that potential H-1B cap cases be filed immediately.

For more information on the H-1B FY 2012 cap season, visit the USCIS website.
