U.S. Embassy Lisbon No Longer Processing Immigrant or Diversity Visas As of March 1, 2012

The Department of State announced that effective March 1, 2012, the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon and U.S. Consulate General in Ponta Delgada will no longer process immigrant visa applications.  All immigrant visa cases will be processed at the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France. This change only affects immigrant visa processing.  The U.S. Embassy in Lisbon and the U.S. Consulate General in Ponta Delgada will continue to provide services to American citizens and process nonimmigrant visas.
