practices.

17, 2010 -
Morton's of
Chicago/Portland,
Inc.:
Morton's, a
restaurant
located in
Portland,
Oregon, agreed
to pay a civil
penalty of
$2,200 and
$8,595.62 in
back pay in a
settlement
following
charges of
citizenship
status
discrimination
and document
abuse.

7, 2010 -
Aquatico Pool
Management:
OSC reached a
settlement with
Aquatico Poll
Management of
Sugarland,
Texas in which
Aquatico agreed
to pay a
$100,000 civil
fine and $499.20
in backpay
following
allegations of
document abuse
by the company.

19, 2010 -
John Jay College:
John Jay College
of New York
agreed to a
civil penalty of
$23,360 and
$10,072.73 in
back pay with
interest in a
settlement with
OSC following
allegations of
document abuse.
- May
12, 2010 -
ValleyCrest
Companies:
ValleyCrest
Companies, a
landscaping
company located
in Spotsylvania,
Virginia agreed
to pay $11,173
in back pay in a
settlement with
OSC following
allegations that
the company
discriminated
against domestic
workers in favor
of foreign
workers under
the H-2B visa
program.

April 28, 2010 -
Argosy
University:
Argosy
University, a
college with 19
locations
throughout the
United States,
agreed to pay
$7,100 in an OSC
settlement to an
individual
alleging
citizenship
status
discrimination
and
intimidation.
The Office of Special Counsel
also issues letters of
resolution where U.S. employers
enter into bi-lateral settlement
agreements with charging parties
or voluntary correct
discriminatory practices. A
